Freshwater Wetland Biologist: Needed NowThis position requires a firm understanding of South Florida's freshwater plant communities. The ability to perform wetland jurisdictional determinations and vegetation cover type delineations is a must. Knowledge of Florida's Environmental Regulatory Permitting process is desirable. Good writing skills required. Work will consist of a combination of both field and office assignments. Salary based upon experience. Groundwater Modeler: Needed NowThis position requires a firm understanding of Visual ModFlow and South Florida hydrologic conditions. Assignments would consist of developing ModFlow models to evaluate various development options to assess impacts to wetland and groundwater resources. Consumptive use permit processing would also fall within the scope of responsibilities. Knowledge of Florida's environmental regulatory permitting process is desirable. Knowledge of ESRI's ArcInfo desirable. Good writing skills required. Work will consist of a combination of both field and office assignments. Salary based upon experience. Technician: Needed NowWork will consist of a combination of both field and office assignments. This position will assist existing staff in the field during site assessment and mitigation monitoring efforts. Office activities would include preparation of field reports, data entry, and preparation of field equipment. An understanding of South Florida's coastal and freshwater environments desirable. Small boat skills and scuba certification a benefit. Good writing skills required. Salary based upon experience. GIS Technician:The ideal candidate for this position must have a strong working knowledge of ESRI's ArcInfo and ArcInfo Spatial Analyst running on a Windows platform. In addition, familiarity with PCI's image processing software, ImageWorks and GCPWorks and Clark Labs Idrisi highly desirable. This is a growing group at EAS Engineering, Inc. Marketing skills would be beneficial. Salary based upon experience. |
